THIS DAY IN MILITARY HISTORY
On November 30, 1942, during the Guadalcanal campaign (Pacific Theater), the **Battle of Tassafaronga** took place. A smaller squadron of Imperial Japanese Navy destroyers defeated a U.S. Navy cruiser force, resulting in the sinking of the heavy cruiser USS *Northampton*.
The closing of one month is the launching of the next; maintain vigilance on all pending regulatory changes and mission timelines.
