OIG Reports Fraudulent Student Loan Discharge: A multiagency investigation initiated by the VA OIG resulted in charges alleging a Veteran submitted fraudulent documents to the VA to unlawfully obtain a disability rating, which was then used to obtain discharge of over $242,000 in federal student loan debt.

On November 28, 1943, World War II strategy was determined as U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin met for the first time at the **Tehran Conference** in Iran to coordinate the next phases of the Allied effort against Nazi Germany and Japan.
