1) Policy Window — VA Surpasses One Million Disability Claims in FY25
Summary: The VA has processed over one million disability claims in FY25, nearly two weeks ahead of last year’s pace. Even with a 15.6% increase in submissions, accuracy has remained above 92%, delivering more than $62 billion in compensation to 6.9 million Veterans and survivors.
Additional Update: The VA has launched a national search for new leadership at both the Veterans Health Administration and Veterans Benefits Administration to improve care delivery and claims turnaround.
